Nutrition Therapy

Nutrition therapy with me offers an open and non-judgemental  space to explore your relationship to food and your body, interrogate any un-useful and unsupportive narratives that are causing stress and discomfort. I can offer and support you in exploring different ways of relating to food that center pleasure, trust, and ease.

Nutrition therapy with me may be covered by your insurance plan. I am in network with Regence, Premera, First Choice, Kaisier PPO, Cigna, and Lifewise. Out of pocket fees vary with individual plans and I encourage you to confirm coverage for outpatient nutrition services with a registered dietitian nutritionist so that you are aware of the financial obligations.

Professional consultation

I work with helping professionals to provide a supportive environment for exploring their own harsh areas with food and body from a body trust (R) approach, a space to learn about eating disorder care and prevention such that providers can reduce harm within their own practice, and a space for case consult and compassionate support to reduce caregiver fatigue and burnout.

Please email me if you are interested in learning more about this offering.

Professional consultation rates are $150.00 for one hour session. Sliding scale rates are available and please inquire if this would feel supportive for you.

Body Trust 8 week class series

I offer ongoing classes in body trust (R) work. Supportive fat positive community spaces are crucial to this work. This class will offer space to explore what this healing work can look like in your own life and within community with others along this path.

Classes are held at Rooted Heart Healthcare in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle WA.

Please email me for more information on the next class series.

Presentations and Education opportunities

Want to create safer spaces for people with bodies? Hire me to speak at your organization.

I am available to educate healthcare professionals or students in trauma informed eating disorder prevention and care, introduce body trust (R) work into your organization and engage a conversation about creating safer spaces free of weight stigma, fat phobia, and diet culture (which impacts everyone at your organization but disproportionately effects those with marginalized identities) within your places and spaces. I am passionate about presenting to people on these topics and have a friendly, engaging, and informative presentational style.

Please email me to learn more about hiring me to speak.
