When people ask me about what I do…

  • I give people neutral and caring space to move the griefs of their day out of the way.

  • I cultivate safety, comfort, and connection as they explore their food and body behaviors, feelings, and contexts.

  • I reflect ah-ha moments, larger griefs, and social contexts, using intuition as a guide as to where and how.

  • I cultivate relationship and connection.

  • I continue to foster my relationship to myself and my own intuition, while identifying trauma responses, fragilities, and trauma lineages.

  • I gather support for myself and my people.

  • I continue learning, unlearning, and relearning, seeking out lived experience voices.

  • I funnel money towards activism and reparations.

  • I commit to my continued healing, trauma processing, and joy.

What do I do all day?!?! I also sometimes use my degree and clinical experience for education where appropriate, talk about poop 💩, and navigate our broken medical system with whole humans in it as an insurance provider (and managing my rage at the exploitative nature of insurance companies ✌🏻)

Also I mentor dietitians (and therapists!) in eating disorder care ✨ if you are curious about getting support in this work from me- please reach out!
